On Friday, staff at Regent Training Centre’s Whangarei campuses were treated to a delicious lunch, all put together and prepared by this year’s Hospitality students.
There was so much food – ham, turkey, roast beef, roast lamb, seafood, all types of vegetables, and a huge amount of desserts such as Pavlova and chocolate Mousse. All the food was prepared so well and presented in such a professional manner, it is easy to see why our Hospitality students go on to make good additions to commercial kitchens around Northland.
Semester 2 starts at Regent Training Centre on Monday July 20th, if you would like to join our Hospitality course, which is free to students under 20 years old, then contact us or give our friendly staff a call on 0800 REGENT (0800 734 368). You may be eligible for Student Allowances and/or travel subsidies. Hospitality students will not only gain the National Certificate in Hospitality but their NCEA levels 1 and 2, and a Vocational Pathway Award.
