Modern Apprenticeships  provide support service to both the apprentice and the employer throughout the whole qualification process. They work in conjunction with the Industry Training Organisation to develop a personal training plan to assist the apprentice in goal-setting, to keep their learning on track and sort out any issues that may arise along the way.

The Benefits of a Modern Apprenticeship Coordinator

Facilitate the Modern Apprenticeship process.

Offer Services to potential or employed Apprentices and employers in order to assist the setting up, retention and completion of Modern Apprenticeships.

Assist with recruiting and screening potential Apprentices where required.

Liaise with employers, ITO's and training providers, and support the employment relationship.

Provide support services for training activity leading to credit and National Certificate achievement, including liaison, developing training plans, and supporting integration of on and off-job training and assessment.

Identify individual Modern Apprentices key skills requirements, include these in the Modern Apprenticeships individual Training plan and make arrangements to ensure the training and assessment in key skills is provided.

Provide mentoring for Modern Apprentices.

Visit each employer and modern apprentice at least once every quarter and more often if required.
